Year 5/6 Hockey Tournament

On Thursday, our year 5 and 6 Hockey team went to the City of Peterborough Hockey Club to take part in the Peterborough Hockey Tournament .

There were 6 schools in attendance and we started off with a 3-1 win against Hampton Harrgate in our first match. We then faced two very tricky opponents which ended up with a 3-1 loss to Barnack and then 7-4 to defeat against Eye Primary School. We then moved onto our final two matches which the children were determined to win and showed this effort and determination by beating Orton St Johns Church School 12-1, before triumphing once again 3-2 against The Kings School.

The team thoroughly enjoyed there hockey tournament and finished in 3rd place overall. They are all raring to go for the next tournament.
