YEAR 5

Miss Mann

I was inspired to be a teacher during my gap year in France where I taught French children English. This experience was where I realised how passionate I was about teaching and what a privilege it was to be able to work with children and watch their curiosity and love for learning grow. My main goal in teaching is to make a positive impact in children's lives and encourage children to reach their full potential and achieve anything they set their mind to. As well as teaching I enjoy walking my dog, Jasper, baking, reading and playing netball.

Mrs Cannon

I absolutely loved my school days - they really can be the best days of your life! School has certainly changed since I was at primary school, but the end goal is still the same. My job is so rewarding and I enjoy watching the children of Winyates succeed. As an adult I am always learning new things myself, so I understand the importance of education. I am lucky to work in such an amazing school. When I'm not at work, I will most definitely have my head in a book. Reading is my biggest passion in life and I am constantly adding books to my collection. I also have a very spoilt dog waiting for me at home every day, who I love spending time with.
