Governing Body
The Spirit Federation Governing Body provides strategic leadership and accountability for St John’s Church School, Winyates Primary School,
Barnack CE Primary School and Paston Ridings Primary School.
Governors work in partnership with school leaders to ensure every child receives the best possible education, that resources are used effectively and that the federation remains true to its vision and values.
The Governing Body supports and challenges leaders, monitors school improvement and fulfils its statutory responsibilities on behalf of pupils, families and communities.
Our Governors will:
Provide strategic leadership - setting the vision, values and long-term direction of the federation.

Hold leaders to account - monitoring educational outcomes, safeguarding, attendance and school improvement.

Oversee financial performance - ensuring public funds are used effectively and sustainably.
