Teaching has always felt like the right career for me because I love helping children grow in confidence and discover a love of learning. I am especially passionate about Year 1, it is such an exciting stage where children build on the foundations from Reception and become more independent and curious learners. I was inspired by my own Year 2 teacher, who made school feel like a second home—a place where I felt safe, supported, and able to thrive. I hope to create that same positive and nurturing environment for the children in my class, helping them to believe in themselves, enjoy learning, and reach their full potential.
