Mrs Bretheron

I’m Mrs Bretherton and I cannot wait to join Winyates this year in Year 1. I love teaching and can’t believe I ever did anything else. One of my favourite things about teaching is developing and nurturing children’s curiosity; in the classroom, in the forest, in the stories we read and non-fiction books we explore. I love reading and I love sharing my favourite books and love of reading with the children I teach. I am really looking forward to starting our journey together at Winyates this year.

It was during the first lockdown of 2020, that I discovered my passion for helping little ones to embrace their curiosity within education, I loved being able to encourage my daughter to explore her favourite subjects and to ignite her creativity during each period of homeschooling.

Having the opportunity to witness and be a part of each child’s journey to success, is what drives me to help create a safe, fun and explorative environment for the children to enjoy.
