EARLY YEARS

After teaching within EYFS for many years, I still have a continued passion for helping young children take their first steps as a learner. It is so rewarding to help make a difference in children's lives – seeing them enthusiastic and motivated about each new experience. I aim to inspire children to become curious about their learning within a nurturing environment for them to thrive in. I look forward to giving children endless opportunities to become lifelong learners.

I am really lucky that I get to work in what I consider to be one of the most special year groups - Reception. Being able to lay the fundamental building blocks for a child's future is so rewarding and impactful. There is nothing better than seeing children learn new skills and knowledge every single day. I feel honoured that I get to witness so many truly special moments in their learning. Building a strong relationship with both children and their parents is something that I take immense pride in. I was fortunate as a little girl to have so many teachers that inspired me and I can only hope that I too continue to inspire the youngest members of our school for many more years to come.
