Librarian Training

On Thursday 9th May our Winyates' librarians had the opportunity for some librarian training at Orton library. We were met at the library by Alice who talked us through the role of librarians and how the library was organised.
The librarians were then set the task of putting away fiction and non-fiction books. They created book reviews for their favourite books and created a display in the library. Finally they went on a scavenger hunt, putting all the skills they had learnt into practice.
We can't wait to get back to our school library, get it organised and help our friends find books they'll love!
