🥪 The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch 🥪

Alongside our story The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch, the children have been busy exploring food preparation through play and hands-on learning.

The children used playdough to create different lunches for Mr Grinling, enjoyed recreating the role of Mrs Grinling in the kitchen area, and carefully followed step-by-step instructions to make their own sandwiches for snack time. 🍅🧀🥒

Through these activities, the children developed their fine motor skills, communication, imagination, and ability to follow instructions independently. We loved seeing their creativity and confidence grow throughout the week! 🌟
