Peterborough Netball Finals

This year our Year 5/6 Netball team have been sensational, they qualified for the Peterborough Finals after finishing 2nd in their league and achieving 3 wins out of 4 matches. This event had the top 12 schools in the city that had been whittled down from 40!

Despite the terrible rain, the children had a fantastic attitude to the tournament and played some brilliant netball. In our first match we drew 2-2 before a narrow 1-0 defeat. The children then bounced back to win the next two games with 5-0 and 9-1 victories.

Unfortunately, the children missed out by 2 points from qualifying for the quarter finals, as they finished 4th in the group and 7th overall.

All of the team should be really proud of their efforts this year. They have been a pleasure to coach and support.
