Year 5 Residential Update!

Updated: Nov 13

Day 2:

The day started with a filling breakfast. Children had a choice of a cooked breakfast or cereal. We then kicked off our days activities with rifle shooting where every child was able to hit the target successfully. Next we took part in an underground maze where the children enjoyed communicating effectively and managed to use their team work to succeed.

Next up we had a quick lunch to recharge before heading onto our next activity of fencing. The children became capable fencers and were able to dual between each other. Our final activity before dinner was crate stacking. Once again the children had to show their team work and collaborating skills in order to successfully stack crates as high as they could with children climbing on top. We then tucked into dinner before finishing the day with a disco before bed. All of the children are now tucked up and looking forward to what their final day brings.

Day 1:

After a very excited start to the day we set off for Culmington Manor eager for adventure! We arrived ready just in time for lunch before heading off to our first activity. The children were thrilled to begin with archery, where the children were able to shoot arrows at a target before competing in accuracy games.

Then it was time for dinner and the children all gobbled up their lovely meal before heading out once again. The final activity of a great first day was abseiling in the dark, where every child was succesful.

We can't wait to get started again in the morning.
