This term, year 4 had the opportunity to visit the magnificent Peak District and walk up the incredible Thorpe Cloud. It was a steep hike which combined grassy sections of path with sharp and slippery stone sections. We all had to be very careful not to lose our footing! We had excellent guides who were helpful and hugely professional throughout our time with them - and they were built upon the learning we had been doing us in school by quizzing us on mountain facts as we walked. We enjoyed a picnic from the top with some truly incredible views before heading back. All the children enjoyed the trip and it was great to see them all being so adventurous.
