Science Selfie Competition

November 10th is World Science Day, which aims to show that although you may not be a scientist or a researcher — science is all around you and is a part of everybody’s life. The theme for National Science Day 2021 is “Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills, and Work” - for this, we are launching a science selfie competition next week! Similar to last year, the idea is that children take a selfie with a science theme (either at home or in school) and write a brief explanation of what science their selfie shows. We hope this will encourage children to realise that science is all around us and hopefully will create a 'buzz'.

There are 4 prizes up for grabs in each key stages! To enter, all they need to do is send their science selfies to Year2@winyatesprimary.net by Wednesday 10th November.
