Starting on Monday 21st June it is National Sports Week and as a part of this the children will be taking part in slightly different PE lessons. These lessons will involve the children participating in different activities that are different to their normal lessons. Examples of these are Archery, American Football, Handball and many more.
In addition to this, each class will be taking part in a Miles to Tokyo competition during one of their lessons to mark the upcoming Olympics and Paralympics, which are due to begin on 23rd July. Within the lessons children will complete as many laps as possible to see how far they can travel as a class. Each classes total will then be combined to see if we can get to Tokyo as a school.
We look forward to celebrating sport with the children and will be sharing more photos during the week.
