We've had a really interesting week in Year 4. We got stuck into our geography topic by doing a group project making different types of dams out of all sorts of different materials! The children showed some really deep thinking centred around how and why which of the different materials worked best.
In writing, we have been working through our key text, 'The Dam' by David Almond - focusing on emotive language and focusing on how authors can show the emotions of their characters without telling you.
I have been really impressed with the quality of the work Year 4 have produced this week. Their attention to detail and deep thinking have really been on show. Well done!
