Year 2 visited Peterborough Cathedral this term to learn more about Mary Queen of Scots as the cathedral was her former burial place. During our trip, we created a timeline of Mary's life, learned about her family by creating a family tree, used quills to request the moving of Mary's body to Westminster and investigated who could have killed Lord Darnley. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cathedral and were fully immersed into learning about Mary's life. We can't wait to use our learning to write diaries from the viewpoint of Mary and create our own timeline of her life.
