Year 1 British Science Week

Year 1 have loved being back in school this week and have had a lot of (messy) fun experimenting with different things. First, we thought about innovation and looked at the structure of different buildings. I challenged teams to try and build the tallest structure using only biscuits and chocolate, our winning tower was 24cm high! Next, we explored different states of matter and learnt the words solid and liquid. We thought about what happens when something is neither solid or liquid and made oblique.
