Roman Mosaics

As part of Year 3’s theme of 'The Romans' they have been looking at how long ago mosaics have been around and also how they were made. The children first designed their patterns they wanted to create then made their own mosaics using clays and tesserae pieces of mosaic. Some children even applied our knowledge of symmetry to their patterns.
