My journey to teaching began in Spain where I taught English to Spanish primary children. It was there that I realised my love of teaching and couldn't wait to come home and teach here. Teaching and working with children is such a privilege, I will always treasure each moment.
I have a true passion when it comes to developing children holistically, as well as in an educational context. Giving them the tools to positively function in the classroom and the real world. Primary school is a time for creativity, dreams, and ambition, and I take great pride in being involved in this part of a child’s life.
I started at Winyates in February 2007 as a lunchtime supervisor then became a teaching assistant in 2015. I have seen my 3 children start and finish Winyates and I myself came to Winyates as a pupil in 1981.
