On Wednesday 8th January, the Year 6 class visited Stibbington for a WW2 Evacuee day. The children were immersed in every aspect of the 1940s. While there they experienced life inside the classroom as an evacuee and explored the local area.
One child commented by saying, "I really enjoyed the day and it felt very realistic especially when we heard planes travelling across and we went to the shelter for safety. I also think it has given me a lot of knowledge about WW2 and will therefore help for our learning and writing this term. It was the best trip ever!"
