Year 3 have really enjoyed the contrast in weather in the past two weeks and as a class we have made the most of being outside and enjoying ourselves. Last week, at school the rain and mud created a wonderful opportunity to get muddy! Children made a mud slide and worked together pulling each other down on the slide!
Then after the excitement of snow on Sunday and our snow day on Monday the children shared some of their pictures showing what had been making with the snow. Some children built snowmen and others showed off their scientific skills and completed the snow challenge reporting their findings. You can see one of the locations a snowball was placed to investigate how quickly it melted in comparison to the other 4 locations (including in his fridge and freezer!)
