Reading for Enjoyment Morning

Years 4, 5 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Serpentine Green,as part of The Young Reader’s Programme Project to promote ‘Reading for Enjoyment’. The children were, once again, lucky enough to be chosen to take part in this project where they chose 3 new books  for free! All of the children were then presented with their final book by ‘The Works’ at a Special Event, hosted by Serpentine Green.

Additionally to this the pupils got to make, toss and taste pizzas, with the compliments of Sub Express. They created their own puppet show with support from The Undercroft Theatre and enjoyed taking part in a Storytelling session.

Everyone had a fantastic and memorable morning and would like to thank both Serpentine Green and The National Literacy Trust for making it possible.
